1. Overview

FLC Ha Long Bay Golf Club crowns the Bai Chay Hill ridge above Halong Bay, offering panoramic limestone karst vistas and cruise-ship views from every hole. The ridge-strewn routing shows a new face of the bay at each tee, and sunset rounds are a signature experience.

Schmidt-Curley Design planted Paspalum turf across the entire Par 71 layout for consistent year-round lies, while raised greens, counter bunkers, and the 40-meter drop on the uphill 12th par-5 showcase the elevation drama. Each of the five par-3s frames the sea, so wind control and visual focus are essential.

The course sits adjacent to the 5-star FLC Ha Long Bay Golf & Luxury Resort’s hotel, convention center, and night-practice facilities, making it ideal for incentive groups and leisure stay-and-play packages. Cart paths throughout the resort plus 18-hole lighting allow flexible afternoon-to-evening rounds.

4. Course guide

The front nine flows between resort villas and ridges, offering downhill drives and wide views, while the back nine alternates ocean-facing holes and forested gullies, so wind direction and cloud cover shape the challenge. The downhill 12th par-5 drops roughly 40 meters, and the closing 18th par-4 finishes with the resort’s main building and Halong Bay vista framing the final green.
