1. Overview

Tam Dao Golf & Resort extends across the Tam Dao National Park ridge at about 1,200 meters, offering cool rounds between 15~25°C year-round thanks to natural streams and valley breezes. It sits roughly 65 km from Hanoi and 45 km from Noi Bai International Airport, making it a signature “cool summer” escape in northern Vietnam.

IMG (International Management Group) routed the 7,169-yard Par 72 layout to embrace existing terrain folds, waterways, and exposed rock. Holes such as the high-elevation par-3 11th, the water-lined par-5 10th, and the finishing par-4 18th demand precise club selection and trajectory control, while four teeing grounds let every handicap adjust the challenge.

The clubhouse features a mountain-view panorama terrace, heated sauna, indoor/outdoor dining, a 300m driving range, and a short-game zone. TJIC, founded in 2003, operates the resort campus and supports weekday memberships, corporate incentives, and family travel packages.

4. Course guide

Tam Dao Golf Resort is an 18-hole mountain layout exposed to constant wind, mist, and temperature swings, so each season plays with a different level of difficulty.

• Front Nine: Wide landing areas and gentle fairways help set the early rhythm, but holes 2 and 3 spike sharply in difficulty when wind increases.
• Back Nine: Holes 13–15 flank the valley with uphill greens and deep bunkers that challenge putting touch.
• Green conditions: Maintained at 9–10 feet year-round, ideal for practicing fast putting lines.
