1. Overview

Sonadezi Chau Duc Golf Course is part of the Sonadezi industrial-city complex in Ba Ria–Vung Tau Province, delivering a 36-hole masterplan whose Resort course opened in November 2023. The property sits 90–110 minutes from Ho Chi Minh City’s District 1 and around 35 minutes from Vung Tau, catering to industrial park guests and leisure travelers alike.

Greg Norman Golf Course Design followed the natural knolls and streams, planting Platinum Paspalum fairways and TifEagle greens for consistent year-round playing surfaces. The Resort routing weaves wide landing zones with strategic bunkering, while the Tournament course coming in 2025 will add a tighter routing and extended yardage aimed at pro events.

The three-story clubhouse hosts a signature restaurant, 280m driving range, short-game area, and heated spa, and Sonadezi Chau Duc JSC leverages the industrial park’s infrastructure to attract corporate incentive rounds and large-scale tournaments. Wide cart paths, night lighting, and GPS-enabled carts give the venue flexible tee-time operation across seasons.

4. Course guide

4.1 Layout

The Resort course’s outward nine (holes 1–9) features gentle undulations and wide landing areas that help newcomers find a comfortable rhythm. Par-5s 1 and 9 challenge players with streams crossing the second shot, so aggressive tee selections can pay off early in the round.

The inward nine (holes 10–18) introduces more elevation and valley holes. Par-4 14 forces a layup toward a central fairway bunker, while par-3 17 carries over a ravine and requires careful wind and carry management—one of the course’s signature shots.

Wide cart paths, GPS carts, and night lighting on the driving range and short-game facility let the venue operate from dawn to dusk, and when the Tournament course opens the full 36-hole complex will aim to host professional events.
