1. Overview

PGA NovaWorld Phan Thiet Golf Club is Vietnam’s only PGA-licensed 36-hole property inside the 1,000-hectare NovaWorld resort. The Ocean and Garden courses are both Greg Norman designs, built with modern turf and facilities that welcome professional competition alongside resort play.

The Ocean Course plays as a coastal links stretching 7,415 yards with wind-swept dunes and the “Shark Loop” (holes 13–15) that reward aggressive lines while punishing misses with native vegetation and waste bunkers. Signature holes include the downhill par-3 5 and the long par-5s 10 and 18).

The Garden Course channels Sandbelt inspiration, weaving creeks and five lakes through layered bunkering, a three-tiered par-3 14, and a waterfall-anchored par-4 18. A 325-yard driving range, 18-hole putting course, and hospitality pods reinforce the high-end resort experience.

4. Course guide

Both courses use Zeon Zoysia fairways and TifEagle greens that deliver consistent speed year-round while supporting PGA-grade tournament setups and resort play.

4.1 Layout

The Ocean Course follows coastal dunes with shifting wind directions. The front nine climbs ridges before descending toward the sea, then returns with cross- and headwinds, while the Shark Loop (holes 13–15) rewards bold circuits in exchange for deep waste bunkers.
