1. Overview

Tan Son Nhat Golf Club is a city-edge 36-hole complex built alongside the runway buffer of Tan Son Nhat International Airport, just 25 minutes from Ho Chi Minh City’s District 1. Wide fairways and runway-facing vistas pair with the spectacle of passing aircraft and LED lighting to create a contemporary urban round.

Nelson & Haworth designed the four 9-hole loops—A, B, C, and D—with distinct characters. A and B follow gentle natural ridges with rolling fairways and skyline-view par 5s, C uses ridge tops and lakes to demand strategic tee shots, and D finishes alongside a large lake with sigma-shaped greens and island bunkers, allowing multiple championship combinations.

The entire property has LED lighting for late-night play, a two-tiered 60-bay driving range, short-game area, and fitness-equipped academy. The 450-seat clubhouse features a Korean-Vietnamese buffet and banquet halls suited for group tours or corporate events.

4. Course guide

Teeing options combine two runway-parallel loops (A & B) with two lakeside loops (C & D). All four are Par 72 and can be paired as A+B or C+D for championship rotations, while night rounds often run A+C or B+D to optimize transitions between lighted paths.

  • A Course: Open rolling fairways facing the airport with repeating left and right doglegs; the par-5 7th looks down the runway and demands controlled driver trajectory.
  • B Course: Tree-lined, curving fairways with diagonal water hazards that narrow quickly; the par-3 6th uses a tiered green to raise the difficulty.
  • C Course: Ridge-top tees and deep bunkers reward big hitters but punish those who misjudge side slopes on carriers into the greens.
  • D Course: Lakeside finishing loop with skyline views; the back-to-back lakes on 8 and 9 often decide the match, and the lit reflections are especially dramatic after dark.

All greens are TifEagle with consistent speeds year-round—typically 9.5 feet during the day and 10+ feet for night play.
