1. Overview

Vinpearl Phu Quoc Golf Club sits on the northwestern dunes of Bai Dai Beach, pairing wide coastal vistas with coral forests and mangrove-lined wetlands. Mild temperatures near 26–29°C and steady sea breezes make it a resort destination even during winter months.

The 27-hole masterplan from IMG Worldwide splits into Sea, Forest, and Mountain loops, with the Sea + Forest combination operating as the main 18-hole circuit today. The Sea loop celebrates the beachfront dunes with expansive landing zones and sharp bunker lines, while the Forest loop threads through tropical woods, tight fairways, and a sequence of water hazards demanding precise layups.

The resort cluster includes a 5-star hotel, waterpark, safari park, and Grand World shopping area, so guests can combine rounds with family leisure. A night-driving range, full-service clubhouse, and Vinpearl’s unified reservation platform keep service quality consistent.

  • 27-hole coastal links hybrid across Bai Dai dunes and mangrove terrain.
  • IMG-designed Sea/Forest loops blending wind-swept carrying zones and forest-risk sections.
  • Vinpearl resort, safari, and waterpark integrated into the golfing complex.

4. Course guide

The Sea loop (holes 1–9) tracks along coastal dunes and coral thickets. Three par-5s offer opportunities to press for birdies when the wind cooperates, while holes 7 (552 yards) and 8 (233 yards) slice across the shoreline, demanding careful wind and roll calculations. Expansive landing areas hide irregular sandhill and waste bunker formations that require deliberate tee aiming.

The Forest loop (holes 10–18) plunges through jungle corridors and mangrove wetlands. Narrow fairways, twisting ponds, and creek-lined par-5s such as the 12th and 17th force thoughtful positioning, and the closing par-4 18th finishes with water flanking both sides and a bunker-guarded green facing the resort campus.

All tees use Paspalum grass to handle the maritime climate, with five tee boxes from Gold to Red supporting flexible setups. A 300-meter driving range with lights, large locker rooms, and spa facilities link via shuttle to the on-site hotels for a resort-style loop.
