1. Overview

ChiLinh Golf Club spans a 325-hectare golf & leisure park in Chi Linh City, Hai Duong Province, along the Hanoi–Ha Long Expressway. Surrounded by lakes and ridges, it has earned the nickname “the most challenging course in Vietnam” and stands as a top choice for metro Hanoi golfers.

The 27-hole layout by Australia’s I.G.C.S splits across Hillyard (A), Valley (B), and Lake (C) terrains, each offering different elevation changes and attack lines. Tight driving corridors, hidden bunkers, layered greens, and water hazards combine to make the round feel completely different based on tee placement and pin setup.

With a renovated clubhouse, upgraded lockers and restaurants, and experienced caddie & marshal teams, the club has hosted the Vietnam National Championship, VPG Tour, and other elite events. Its master plan envisions expansion to 45 holes, while the resort-style operation handles large corporate events and incentive rounds.

4. Course guide

Chi Linh Golf Club is a prestigious 27-hole northern layout (expandable to 36) defined by repeated valleys and lakes.

• A Course: Gentle ups and downs with wide landing zones set a steady tempo.
• B Course: Long par-5s and lake-side par-3s demand precise distance control.
• C Course: Significant elevation changes and blind tee shots make it challenging for advanced players.
