1. Overview

Stone Valley Golf Resort sits in the Kim Bang valley of Ha Nam Province, presenting panoramic lakeside and limestone karst views reminiscent of Trang An and Tam Coc. Located about 65 km south of Hanoi, it is easily accessible within 80 minutes via expressways and national routes, making same-day rounds or combined golf-tour itineraries convenient.

Brian Curley of Schmidt-Curley Design placed the holes along untouched karst ridges, pairing Celebration Bermuda fairways with TifEagle greens and alternating over 100 meters of elevation shifts throughout A/B/C loops. The routing deliberately uses uphill/downhill and side-slope lies to add variety beyond Hanoi’s typical flat layouts.

The fortress-style clubhouse overlooks the karst ridges, and the resort continues expanding its outdoor practice range, mandatory electric carts on all holes, and LED lighting for night play. Managed by Truong An Golf, the venue actively packages with nearby resorts and hotels while hosting seasonal championships and corporate incentives.

Stone Valley Golf Resort is a 27-hole IMG design that leverages wide valleys and rocky terrain for a dramatic routing across the karst landscape.

• Front Nine: Flows gently along the valley with signature par-3s facing the water hazards.
• Back Nine: Built over rocky terrain with sharp elevation changes and sidehill lies that demand precise shot-making.
• Practice facilities: A two-story driving range with putting and chipping zones keeps team prep effortless.
