1. Overview

Dong Nai Golf Resort sits inside the protected forest near Trang Bom, offering 27 holes threaded between jungle ridges and natural lakes about 60 minutes from Ho Chi Minh City. The tropical setting keeps the rounds breezy even in summer, and the surrounding pines and palms contribute to a peaceful, retreat-like atmosphere.

Ward W. Northrup designed the original A & B courses, while the 2002 C Course extension takes advantage of steep contouring for a more dynamic routing. All three loops feature narrow fairways and natural hazards that hug the play lines, so tee and approach decisions must be precise.

The clubhouse blends traditional Vietnamese timber architecture with modern amenities—including a 300-seat buffet, sauna, hot spring, accommodation villas, driving range, and stocked lakeshore—making it a favored stay-and-play destination.

4. Course guide

The three 9-hole loops at Dong Nai weave through tropical woodland and lakes, offering a classic parkland feel on A and B and a high-contour challenge on C. Narrow fairways, deep bunkers, and frequent water hazards keep shot-making decisions tense on every hole.

  • 27 holes across A, B, and C courses carved from jungle and lakeside terrain.
  • Narrow corridors and natural hazards reward precise tee and approach shots.
  • Three-story clubhouse, villas, and hot springs support long-stay golf trips.

4.1 Layout

The A and B loops mirror the gently rolling jungle ridges, while the C extension dives into the steepest slopes with island-style greens and layered bunkering. The C course’s par-5s demand uphill carries, and the back-to-back par-3s test club selection when the wind arrives.
